Other standalone devices can record air quality in a single zone. But BuiltAir© SensorNet upgrades research, building auditing and building management to the next level. Determining inter-zone airflow, balancing energy and thermal comfort throughout the building and setting zone-specific CO2 targets requires networked Loggers, synchronised and operating over a secure local area network (LAN).
SensorNet leverages the Thread protocol; the same technology used by Amazon, Google, and Apple smart-home products. It delivers benefits such as low power consumption, streamlined setups, and a mesh topology, whilst having the the flexibility for potential future integration with other smart-home systems via Matter.

A Border Router connects the Thread network of up to 300 devices to the Cloud via WiFi, with future options for Ethernet and cellular connectivity.
