Ventilation and air flow are critical in controlling pollutants and optimising energy usage. The BuiltAir© SensorNet provides you with three important parameters for measuring airflow in each zone:
The incredibly accurate barometric pressure sensor measures small pressure differences between zones, letting you map inter-zone airflow directions – yet another unseen capability first achieved by BuilltAir© SensorNet.
CO2 concentration, along with occupancy level, lets you calculate air change rate (ACR or ACH).
The two airspeed sensors measure airspeed in the X and Y directions, resulting in a vector. For the first time you can continuously monitor the airflow at open windows and doors, as well as the airflow from HVAC mechanical ventilation.
